Crackle , fuzz , distortion while playback of usb audio

fuzzy when playback of usb audio on my DGX-670 any ideas what is going on ?

Check your levels on the keyboard and in your computer's mixer panel.

levels are good , will still crackle at low volume

Have you isolated the problem to the keyboard or the computer sound.

Try swapping out the computer for a different laptop.

Also make certain all keyboard fx are disabled. Use a solo flute voice as a reference sine wave.

And try moving knobs and sliders to see if problem gets worse.

no puters or laptop involved , just the 670 alone

That means sending digital audio out of the keyboard to a computer.

WTH are YOU talking about?

Are you trying to play an MP3 USB stick or what?

That means sending digital audio out of the keyboard to a computer.

Or possibly to a USB interface then straight to a mixer or amp. There's only a headphone socket on the DGX-670, no Line Out.
