Hi keyboard players,
Being a guitarist (sorry) I have no clue as to the advancement of Keyboard technology in recent years. What I need is a short keyboard with maybe 2.5 octaves. Right hand only. Very portable and needs to go straight into a mixing desk. With convincing (in a live mix) Hammond/70's rock sounds. Think Deep Purple, Argent or maybe The doors. I don't have a particular budget, but I don't want to pay thousands. Does such a thing exist? Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Closest thing that comes close of professional quality is a 25 Note Controller like the Akai MPK25

Combined with a MIDI Sound Module where the range runs from less than $100 to the sky's the limit depending on how realistic you want the sounds.

How good any of them are you'll have to watch and audition them on Youtube and let your wallet and your ears be the judge.

The Ferrofish B4000+ looks like the most reasonably priced and most promising prospect.

Standalone hardware that you described simply does not exist.

Gary ;)
