Yes, you can certainly do that. :) I use my PSR-E/YPT keyboards to play virtual instruments on my computer. And if you have another MIDI controller-- such as a "launchpad" type of controller-- you can merge the Note messages from your PSR-E343 with Control Change messages from the other controller.
