FP-E50

Hi

I recently purchased a FP-E50. I noticed that after appx. 2 weeks some of the black keys sporadically start to clank loudly when rebounding. This is especially prevalent when not striking the keys on the center. No problem with the white keys. I was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem.

It may be a crappy piece of plastic in the counterweight mechanism has dislocated or snapped.

Do you play your keys heavy handed like Rachmaninoff or light and easy like you're driving miss Daisy to Sam Drucker's general store?

or

a roadie may have dropped it.


either way, it's time to open it up for service.

If it's under 30 days, send it back to the vendor.

Otherwise, you're stuck with Roland's warranty service.

Just tell them it was severely damaged in shipping.
