Hello! Im looking for a new keyboard but cant decide which one to buy. I have been playing piano a few years and it is a hobby of mine. (nothing to serious)
Im currently thinking about buying the Kawai CA17 or the brand new CN37. The CN37 offers 300+ sounds and I have no need for so many different sounds. Im going to use the keyboard for practice and to record my own compositions onto a computer. The CA17 is in the "professional" class if Im not mistaken. How much difference is there between them really? I guess not so much, thats why it is hard to choose.
Anyone who has experience with the CA17 or just bought the new CN37?
Thanks for any answers og recomendations!!

Hi Stan >>> First of all I have zero experience with Kawai keyboards however the easiest way to compare to models from the same manufacturer is to compare the specs side by side and see which features you absolutely need and which ones you can live without.

The main advantage I can see to the CN37 is that the 300 sounds and 256 note polyphony will allow you to record pieces with full orchestration and complex harmonies that a simple piano cannot hope to equal.

But that's just me.

My 2 cents is that if you want to grow as a musician and composer then the more blades you have in your Swiss Army Knife the better.

Gary ;)
