My Casio Sounds Like a Computer Virus, and I'm Not Sure That's Normal.

So I've had this Casio CTK-900 for 10 years, and it hasn't failed me up until now. The day before, the sound and software worked just fine. Now, no matter what I try, the keyboard sounds like a computer virus. When I play through a MIDI cord, however, everything sounds fine, albeit a few keys play longer than normal (no specific keys, just random). It's been working for a long time, and I really don't want to buy a new keyboard right now, but I think the thing is at the end of its line.

Probably time to bit the bullet and for you to became That Two Piano Guy.

Opening it up and cleaning all the contacts may help and additionally a full reset often helps.
