Hey everyone. I’m pretty new to electronic keyboards. I’m currently looking into getting my first sythesizer. I joined this forum to aid me in the decision process.

Right now, I was hoping if I could get some input from you experts here.

I recently found a picture of a girl playing an odd-looking keyboard.

    Check it out-

I'd like to try out a keyboard exactly like that one.

What kind of keyboard instrument is that girl playing?

It’s certainly not a keytar. And it has (I think) only 17 keys. It’s probably something MIDI.

I can’t even tell whether this keyboard is mounted or strapped to the girl.

Does anyone here know for sure the identity of that type of keyboard instrument?

This looks like a Midi Controller hooked to a sampler or master keyboard.

    Thanks guys.

Is that Midi Controller mounted on something?

It doesn't look like it is strapped to her like a keytar.

In fact, it looks like it is suspended in mid-air.

So are you saying that it's mounted on something?
