I just decided to buy a Casio CTK-5000. Reading the user reviews at Amazon, I think it's a good deal at < $200 (all I want to pay). If my posting is labeled LK230, that's not true -- I don't have one (or anything yet). Long ago, I had a Kawai K1 keyboard-synth, which I never played much, but I did have lots of fun editing patches for it.
