Changing Octaves when Splitting the keyboard?

Hi,

I have no problem in splitting the keyboard so that I can play one tone on the left side and another tone on the right side. The problem I have is that the left side is always low octaves. I know I could change the split point but then the right side would be too high.

Is there anyway that I can spilt the keyboard directly in the middle but still have the left and right side playing higher octaves?

For example, I want the left side to be a brass sound and the right to be a piano sound. The right side 'piano' sounds ok but the left side 'brass' is way too low with too much bass for the song. I need the brass to be higher pitched??

Cheers

Sorry, that would help.

It's a Roland FP4.

Hmm... transpose each side of the split hey?
