    Hey everybody!!

    I want to use my Yamaha S90 + another keyboard as my live setup. But I only want to use the sounds from the S90. Is there a way to program it that I can play (4 example) a piano sound on the S90 and a string sound (also coming from the S90) on my little keyboard? It seams like this should be an easy thing to do, but I just can't figure out how!!! This is what I tried: I programed a perfomance with 3 diffrent sounds(Piano, Stings, Brass). I sored it as a master and then thought that I could seperate the sounds as diffrent zones. But I couldn't find a fu... way to seperate the 3 sounds!!! If enybody knows how to seperate diffrent sounds, coming from the same source (S90) and send them to a 2nd keyboard, I would be very very thankfull 4 some advise!!!!

    peace, Marco...:confused::confused:

    Shouldn't you be able to assign your "little keyboard" to send MIDI signals to a specified MIDI channel, and then set up your strings sound on the S90 to recieve the signals from that MIDI channel?

    I don't know that well how Yamaha keyboards work, but that sounds like a method that should work, imo...
