The sustain pedal for our church Korg Triton LE Music Workstation ceased to work. I purchased a Gear pedal replacement, but the sustain function still does not work. Could it possibly be a programing problem? If so, does anyone have a solution?

Couple of things it could be:

    (1) Those pedals can act as a latch and as a simple switch. Is there a selector switch on the pedal?

Latch - sound sustains while you hold it down
Switch - click it once and it will sustain. Click it again and it stops

    (2) The pedal might be faulty (the new one). Try it on something else.

    (3) The Korg might not be set up to respond to the sustain pedal info. Is it programmed with lots of sounds? If not just look in the manual and reset factory defaults then try again. If there are lots of sounds and splits programmed in there, you need to export them to something - then do a factory reset - then import your sounds back in. Email Korg if you can't figure it out from their manual.
