Whats a rig setup?

I dont particularly know much about any of that stuff and id like to know a bit more about it because im only a beginner

Generally speaking a rig setup is all the stuff a band uses, cables, microphones, amps, instruments and stands put together and connected to be ready for a performance.

A keyboard rig is often a name given to a keyboard players complete live setup, so a stand or two a few keyboards and sound modules, all the cables and sometimes a mixer.
