Alesis Sample Pad4 Controlling Yamaha e253

I have an Alesis Sample Pad 4 which I want to use as a Midi controller to play sounds from the Yamaha e253. I'm a total noob in the world of Midi (but am fairly technical). any advice?

Unfortunately, you can't do what you want with the PSR-E253, because it has no MIDI IN/OUT ports or USB port.

Earlier models in the PSR-E2xx line had MIDI IN/OUT ports (the PSR-E203 through the PSR-E233) or a USB port that could send/receive MIDI (the PSR-E243).

But for some reason Yamaha omitted either MIDI IN/OUT ports or a USB port from the PSR-E253 and PSR-E263.
