Hi my friends,

the title says pretty much everything.. ;-)

So I have an AT2020 Condenser Mic, one Yamaha PSR EW425, and one XLR - to - 6.3 jack cable. Ofc, Yamaha doesn't provide Phantom Power as my M-Audio interface, but still, if I'm buying an external 48v Phantom Power device ( ex: https://www.thomann.de/intl/millenium_pocket_phantom.htm), can it work?

Thanks in advance,
Dan.

It should work but you'll need an extra XLR cable to run the mic to the module.

The TS cable won't transmit the phantom power to the keyboard.

Hi, happyrat1, thanks for your answer.

I have a XLR cable for connecting my 2020 to M-Audio (working), and another XLR to 6.3 (bought in advance, without understanding full requirements :) ).

So, in theory, I will connect the mic to the new device (ext 48V PP) with XLR - XLR cable, and the new device to the keyboard via XLR-6.3, can it work this way?

Thanks,
Dan.
