Can you connect a microphone to yamaha psr 270?

Hello!

I am trying to figure out if I can plug a Mic to my kid's psr-270/
I see a MIDI connection, but do not know if that is the right way to do it (if at all possible).
Anyone has any ideas?

It will say in the manual and on the rear of the keyboard there will be a socket labelled Mic, if there is not a socket then No, you cannot directly connect a mike.

The other way involves buying a Mixer and a Pair of Powered Speakers. Feed the audio out of the PSR into the Mixer, connect the Mike to the Mixer and the Powered Speakers to the Mixer output.
