CVP-203 as master

I am trying to set up a Yamaha Clavinova CVP-203 as a midi master keyboard. I've run in to one problem. Although the data is moving correctly, I'm only getting the first three octaves. Everything above the third F# is dead to my sequencer (Cubase). I have selected Master Keyboard under the midi page. How do I expand the keyboard range to a full 88?

try the piano button and see if all notes are transmitted
Verify the transmitting data for Main,layer(s),and left
how is the split function used?
