Do you video gigs? What kind of music?

I play with several groups and take video when I think about bringing the camera. This is old school R&B/Motown band.

What kit are you using to take the video?

I used to do Pro Video work and teach Editing as a sideline to my main Profession hence I am always interested in what others do.

Nothing remotely professional, just easy to use. This was shot with a Zoom Q2HD recorder on a tripod.

That is a neat bit of kit, their latest version is £270 which is not much more than one of their audio only recorders.

Looks very non intrusive for stage work.

Zoom audio recorders have been the preferred field recorders for years for one man band type videographers.

I even have a Zoom guitar all in one pedal unit $99 equivalent, use it with my electric uke and battery powered amp.

Here is some snippets from a recent band job for a large crowd at a convention center. Not fancy, just filmed with a GoPro clamped to a light stand. Audio is mostly monitors as the camera was behind the main PA.
