I have WK 7500 and 6500. I'm very happy with the quality and mobility, I don't like the keys. Sometimes they sound like a typewriter.
I'm considering buying a CTX 5000

Does anyone know what's the quality of the keys?

It is the quality of the OS that is the issue.

the 5000 that I bought lasted a weekend, it just would not reliably store settings.

Never again will I try a Casio.

Save up and buy a better quality keyboard.

Take the $700 or $800 you had earmarked for the Casio and buy a used Juno DS88 or Korg Kross 288 instead.

You ears, your brains and your immortal soul will thank you for it. ;)

I've just bought a CT-X3000 - in terms of the physical keys, I feel they are better than the older one (I have a CTK7000).
I did notice the keys on the CTK are a bit "clacky" sometimes and oddly they also creak and squeak on occasions....

If you can go to a shop and try it out, would be the best bet.
