I have a pair of Mackie 5" monitors and a behringer kb/pa amp.
I am getting tired in my "area" unplugging and plugging cables in and out.
Is there such an item where I can leave everything hooked up and just throw a switch when I want to,,,,,, switch between the monitors and the amp?

Run the Mackies off the RCA OUTs and the amp off the Left channel Main OUTs.

Then just switch on the unit you want to hear.

Simple, no?

BTW, don't use Headphone out. Wrong levels and stereo Tip Ring Sleeve instead of Mono TS outs.

You can use the Mix5 the same way.

1) Hook up the Mackie 5" Monitors to the RCA Out jacks.

2) Hook up the Behhringer to the Main OUT jacks. If the Behringer has only one input then only feed in the Left Channel. Otherwise feed the left and right outs into the Behringer if it supports more than one input.

3) Use the power switch on the amp and the monitors to turn on whichever one you please. No more line swapping.

4) Run them both at once if you like it loud :D
