Hello, all! I am an intermediate hobby pianist in need of a portable keyboard to take to worship band rehearsals once or twice a month. In church I play on a Steinway D, and at home on a Mason & Hamlin. As a result, I'm looking for something with a reasonably good piano sound with a good action. Here are my priorities:
(1) Portable (by one man with a truck)
(2) Good grand piano sound
(3) Good action
(4) Price for keyboard & accessories under $1,000

The front runners on my short list are: Yamaha P115, Yamaha DGX 650, and the Casio Privia PX160. I do not want a "toy" or something that feels like cheap plastic. Is what I'm asking for achievable in my planned budget? Thoughts? Many thanks!!!

Hell of a laundry list for under a grand :D

Take a look at the Casio Privia PX-5S and the Privia PX-350 as well.

Gary ;)
