If you compare their specifications side by side you will see that the 910 has more sounds and features.
I would presume that the sound samples used are also a step up in quality from the 700 series.
This is reflected in the significant price difference.
Do try them both before you buy if possible

There is probably quite an age difference between the two of interest if they are of similar price.
With age can come problems.
If I remember correctly, the S900 reached the S970 model before the SX900 came out and the S700 series reached the S775 before it to succumbed to the SX700.
