I have a DGX-500 keyboard with a floppy drive. I would like to replace the floppy drive with a usb drive. Does anyone know if this is possible?

It's doable. A few companies build plug in replacements for floppies that replace disks with flash media, but there are a few caveats. First of all they are limited to storing data in 1.44 MB chunks by partitioning the flash media.

Secondly not every manufacturer of drive is compatible with every manufacturer of keyboard so you'd better do some googling and see if the conversion is doable on your keyboard or not first.

Here's one of the manufacturers I was talking about.

If you google on "Floppy Drive Emulator" you'll find dozens of other makes and models.

Good luck with your conversion and wishing you a happy new year...
