Hi,

I`m looking for some advice on locating spare parts for a Rodgers C100 keyboard, if anyone can help.

Having just acquired the Rodgers I set about cleaning the keyboard contacts as about half the notes were dead, however I`ve managed to damage one of the carbon (pair) contacts while removing the rubber contact strip and that note now either plays very loudly in comparison to the others or not at all. The rest of the keys are now working fine.

So I need to find somewhere that stocks the far left contact strip. I have noticed that alot of the internals are printed "Roland" and wonder if a Roland rubber contact strip is the same ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

David.

I can't help you with a direct replacement since even though lots of third party manufacturers source their keybeds from major companies. Even if it is a Roland contact strip without an exact part number you won't be able to simply call up Roland and get a match.

However, it is possible to repair membrane contact switches.

Check out this video.

Yeah. It's good to know that it IS possible to fix unfixable stuff. :)

You're very welcome. :)
