Roland PF-5,The sound coming out of the speakers or headphones is distorted. Initially only occurred when piano had left on. A component getting hot? Any ideas

Definitely a problem in the output stage.
Impossible to determine the output without test gear though.
Could be a bum capacitor or a burnt bias resistor or an iffy transistor but there's no way of determining that without opening it up and putting the probes to it.
Not really a DIY job for most people though.
Take her into a tech. Should be a simple fix costing about $100 or thereabouts.
