Hello.
I've just bought a new keyboard, and 3 keys located at the right side of the keyboard squeak when I press them.

Is there any way I can fix it?
Or maybe it will go away after some time of using it?

Thank you for your help.

Maybe it would help, but I have no idea how to take out the keys. I'm afraid that I'll do it wrong and something will happen.

If, as you said, it's a brand new keyboard, you can always bring it back to the manufacturer (ie. authorized service center) for a warranty repair. Squeaky keys would qualify as a "manufacturer's defect."

There's also a good chance that with normal use the problem will go away by itself.

If neither of these is an option for you you might try squirting a bit of silicone spray lubricant into the cracks between the keys near the hinges. The stuff is supposed to be safe for plastics and is non conductive and comes with a long thin tube for detailed work. Use it sparingly and test it on a non visible area of a single key first just to make sure it doesn't discolor or stain the plastic.

*Note this is NOT regular WD-40. This is their Silicone Lubricant product.
**Note Any damage caused by DIY solutions may void your warranty.

Hi Lady995, I would not fidle around and try to fix it or wait until it maybe dissapears by itself. As it is new and under guarantee take it back and let them deal with it. Welcome to the forum anyway. What brand/model keyboard are we talking about?

I have to say that the keyboard isn't one of the best ones, because I just bought it to learn to play, and to see if it will interest me that I'll want to keep playing, so I didnt want to waste so much money in case that I wouldnt want to play at last. MK-922, that's the keyboard we're talking about. Generally I dont have any complains about this one, it plays great.
I bought the keyboard through the internet, and if I send it back to guarantee I'll have to pay for the sending costs, what I don't prefer because I'm broke. And as I know my country, Poland, it's gonna take very long until I get my keyboard back :(

Yes understand. One thing you can try is using a VERY TINY littlebit of talcum-powder like footpowder or babypowder between the keys that make the noise. I had succes with that. The powder works as a lubricant. For sure NEVER but NEVER use anything on an oilbase like WD40 or the like as that may ruin your keyboard. Great stuff for rusty locks but not for the plastic and rubbercontacts in a keyboard.
Hope this solves the problem. Keep us informed and Good luck
