Does anyone remember the series of adverts (1920s/30s/40s) in the press?
The slogan is reckoned to be one of the advertising world's "greats".

But what was the "method"?
Was it perhaps based on chord symbols?
I nearly gave up when I found it immensely difficult to read two staves - but when I realised that it's possible to interpret chord symbols for use in the left hand I made progress. I asked my piano teacher about the letters (C - Ebo etc). She said, "Oh, you don't want to worry about them - they're just for ukuleles."
