Here's a little gift my alter ego purchased for me this past black Friday.

I used to play one back in the 80's. It's the only thing with a narrow enough neck for my left hand fingers to reach the strings.

How did you guys make out this year?

:D

Seriously, for christmas, I just bought another cruise for myself and wife. 24 days around Australia.
I will be keen to hear all of the arranger music on board. . . lol
Hahaha!
Having some Christmas cheer right now. Middle afternoon Christmas day .. cheers everyone.

Did Russian air defence shoot him down before he got to your neighbourhood?:rolleyes:o_O

I don't think so. Really wasn't into the festivities this year. Didn't bother with all of the "presents" thing. Didn't decorate anything. Had a couple of friends over for dinner, that was good. But other than that, just another day.

Probably the closest I got to a "Christmas present" was picking up Pianoteq as a Black Friday sale. Have been enjoying that.

Taking January off from gigging, just decided to take a break. Debating whether I wanna move to another state. Maybe my morale will improve over time.

Your problem is obvious, a serious deficiency of psychoactive narcotics.

The next 4 years are going to be hell for us sensitive, artsy types.

The best way to spend them will be in a drug induced coma. :D :D :D

Yep... That's us too.
Just another day, and a nice lunch with those of the family who are near enough, and 2 older guys who have no partners anymore and are really poor.
We've done it this way for many years now.
Neither of us drink, we don't buy or exchange presents.
Over the coming year we will buy things for them to help them, (washing machine for my daughter for example) and it works well. They will treat us too.
We're both well into our later 70's and just see Christmas as a big commercial rip off now.

Onwards and upwards.
Goodwill to you all.
