Engineering design specialising mechanical power transmission /conveyor and drive chain. My own business entails manufacture and supply.
Do you know anyone with a need for a pallet of new gear reductions, 15-150 lbs weight each?

Well, I have done all sorts in my working life, starting at the beginning I left school in 1963 and my first job was

Sales assistant in a D.I.Y shop, passed my driving test and took a job as a grease monkey on a big opencast site and progressed onto Driving big earth movers, and then moved to doing deliveries for a local Health Authority and progressed from that into servicing wheelchairs for the disabled, and finally started an online Vinyl Sign business and became self employed and which I worked at until I retired a few years back and passed the business onto my brother in law

A interesting journey, but one I fear that would be impossible in today's climate what with Health and Safety and the need for Certificates for everything, and I enjoyed it

Semi-retired. Part-time self-employed Railway Signalling Engineering Instructor. Quite a mouthful and it is never on anyone's drop-down list when asked for "Occupation".

Retired data communications protocol specialist.
I started as an electronics engineering apprentice, moved into computers, programming in assembler and machine code, then went to work for a manufacturer. Ended up freelance, writing and delivering courses about data comms via satellite, leased line and packet switched.
