Mine just started doing that in the lowest C key. It only sound if you press fast and/or hard, then the volume is higher than all the other keys. So it lost the touch sensitivity and it is intermittent in a way. I got to the contacts and cleaned them carefully but it did nothing. I'll try to reverse the intermediate strip that transmits the key stroke to the contacts to see if the problem goes to another area of the keyboard. Any thoughts?

After checking electronics etc, I finally found what was the problem. In the key, the contact area consists of 3 very little "teeth" only 1 or 2 mm tall. One of them was just missing a minute part. From previous experience with other keybeds I know velocity is detected by the time difference at which the key contacts push the electrical contacts. since all keys hit the flat contact board at an angle. In this case, the partially broken tooth did not contact, so apparently it registered as "instant" contact or in other words maximum velocity. I ordered a new key but for the heck of it crazy-glued a tiny sliver of a discarded credit card, and the key worked well again!

Keys sticking is a different issue. Keys deform a little due to several things. I generally saw them in real piano action keyboards and it cured with spraying just a little lubricant (WD-40 is great) in the felt area.
