hi.. whenever i try to play a midi file i downloaded on my PSR-E323 keyboard , it sounds fine, EXCEPT, the drums, no matter what midi file i play the drums always replaced by a piano. i have no idea what to do, i'm a noop, and yamaha support claims they cannot promise that anything not recoreded by yamaha willl be produced correctly on their keyboards.
all keyboards do this, especially if you downloaded from windows. the midi banks are strange for some reason, you must go into the playback and change it manually and in KORGS case you must disable program change form the midi filter
how can i change it in the playback? i'm using using windows media and default output of midi is the keyboard.
