Left Hand Techniques

    I watch some keyboard player and he is great in left hand. I wonder if there will be a technique that make him the sound so softly and its really nice. Can you give me some tips?Thank you

    I practicing some Bach music, like the invention no.1 and 8... its really help my left hand to get stronger and more independent....

    Scales and arpeggios are some great practice. Here are some ideas that will help you develop both hands and your coordination:

    Major Scales:
    Go through all 12 scales - 3 octaves with your right hand (only), then your left hand (only).
    Then do the same with both hands together.
    Then do 2 to 1 - two notes on the scale in the right hand to every one in the left.
    Then do 2 notes on the scale in the left to every one in the right.
    Then to the same with 3 to 1, then 4 to 1 (probably need a piano for that)

    Then do the same with arpeggios.
