In the past, I had a challenge of creating a chord progression with each style on a certain keyboard. I think I will restart this challenge but WITH melody.
So I will try to create a track with as many styles as possible from certain arranger keyboards.
I decided to start with the Casio WK-7600 since it is the worst keyboard I have in my opinion. Only two variations and it is a bit older, from 2012 I believe.
It has 5 genre buttons: Pops/Rock/Dance, Jazz/European, Latin, World/Various and Piano Rhythms. The goal is to take a style out of each section and create something with it.
I started with the first genre button: Pops/Rock/Dance and picked the first style available, 001 electropop, which is a dance kind of style I guess. I used the OTS setting for this one but altered the volume of the instrument and added reverb and chorus I believe. Standard, it sounded VERY dry.
It is a very simple tune and was practiced fast enough, but I enjoyed creating it.
