My current keyb is the P-85. In terms of realistic piano key action. Is there a noticable upgrade in action with the P-125 and P-255? I see that the 125 has some felt on its keys (adjoining the unit) which the 85 does not, but I don't know if that affects the action any. The P-85's speaker sound is a total disgrace, and that is factor why I want to upgrade, but finding a digital piano with more realistic key action is the primary factor, though the P-85's action isn't terrible.

In your comparison you are going from an Akai through Marantz right up to a Moon 240.

Quite a wide range of costs in the keyboards.

They all get good reviews for their bang for bucks worth.

Ifyou can have a trip to a stockist and have a play with a few, start off with a Nord Stage 4 to set the bar then work down in price and compare what you get at each price point.

Ido not know about the felt you quote but on an acoustic piano if I remember correctly it is on the keys to stop the clacking key on wood sound that would result.
