I have a Yamaha moxf8 88 and I fitted the 1G expansion board.
In thought that if i loaded extra sounds onto my Yamaha they would store on the expansion card.
As it is I have no idea where the files are going or what they are overwriting. I loaded some organ samples from a usb stick and it went through the process even displaying “writing to flash drive”. The distributor manual said the organ sounds woul load to usr3 and the files originally in usr3 would be on the flash drive as usr4. When the process was complete I scrolled through and no usr4 was available.
I though that I could load the sample files from usb to the flash drive and call on them whenever I wanted them.
Can anyone give me a run through what is stored where? Thank you
