I'm new to the forum but old to the music (81 for now...) Virtually self-taught (lessons from our church pianist at age 5, one lesson on how a chord is constructed - and what it is - from our high school band teacher. From that, I've had a great life playing jazz, fusion, funk and whatever is fun. I have played B3 on the East Coast Chitlin' Circuit. avant-garde outside the lines with Sonny Simmons and toured with Latin Jazz star Willie Bobo. I also studied sarod with Ali Akbar Khan and spent 25 years doing computer stuff. Currently configuring a Yamaha CK-88 to play pseudo-Hammond for local jazz gigs. Great little ax for what it is. So just a lucky old fart who loves to play.
