Keyboard can't play more than 2 notes at same time

Hi! I got a small keyboard with 37 keys for Christmas. I can't play more than 2 notes at the same time. Is that supposed to happen? The brand is BDMusic.

I'd bring it back to the store.

This is a Chinese brand who mainly make low cost keyboards for kids.

If this is a kids model then that might be it.

How old are you?

I’m asking this because if you are a kid then whoever bought it fir you was not keen on spending a reasonable amount of cash on a learner keyboard.

$100 will get a Casio CT which is a better bet, indeed Casio also make kids keyboards and one of there’s is probably a better buy

It's a $30 keyboard sold at Walmart.

It's not defective. If it's sold for $30 it cost under $20 to manufacture. It's probably two note polyphonic. You get what you pay for......

I'd recommend returning it and buying a Casio SA-76
