Hello all, I'm having an issue where the contact under the C4 key is corroding. It keeps the board from registering how hard/soft I hit the key and plays the note at the loudest possible volume regardless of applied pressure. I've cleaned it once and fixed the problem, but it's acting up again. Would applying petroleum jelly to the contact help prevent future corrosion?

If those don't work replace the contact board for the octave.
