Mystery percussion on technics KN6000

I recently noticed a percussion playing on one of my midi files even when all 16 tracks are turned off. It comes on at bar 5 of the track where the real percussion starts and continues along with it to the end. When I press the stop key it stops ok but will not go back to start . Tried factory reset but still the same. Only happens on this particular midi file. all help much appreciated Thanks

What do you mean by "where the real percussion starts"? Is it some sort of audio recording?

If all 16 channels are turned off, the only things I can think of are (1) some sort of audio track; or (2) something that's being played or controlled by System messages, since System messages aren't Channel messages.

By any chance did you forget to turn off the metronome when playing back?
