Problem with casio cdp-s100(bk)

hello buddies.
i have confuse with my digital piano
when i turn it on is acts like sustain pedal is pressed all time!! even when pedal isn't plugged...
but at least the good thing is that when i press the key ''function'' and key ''grand piano'' at the same time my piano starts to play demo songs and then i press the key ''grand piano'' my piano works ok(without sustain). but when i plug pedal sustain pedal doesn't work...

has anybody encountered this?

Try a Factory Initialize.

Is it still under warranty?

Seems to be a common issue with this piano. Mine has been returned under warranty in less than 1 year from purchase and is awaiting replacement of a circuit board on delivery from Tokyo for over 3 weeks to date.....

@vovvoc Thanks for the tip about "demo mode" then "back to normal" it works
