RD2000 or FP90x

Hi All,
Looking to get another board because I want the PHA50 action. I have JunoDS88 and it has been great, but I think the newer action would be better for me. Originally I thought of keeping the Juno and getting the FP90x but I played with the RD 2000 and it looks like it can replace the Juno but still have the great piano action. Thoughts???

Get the RD. If you're treating yourself might as well buy a Cadillac.

However, you might want to wait til spring.

If they introduce a new flagship piano at Winter NAMM 24 you'd be able to pick up a closeout sale price on the board.

I agree, the Juno DS was one of the best feeling hammer actions I ever played.

Very true. It’s not too far off.
I haven’t heard any rumblings about new boards from Roland.

Maybe consider a Fantom 08. It's priced in the same range as the RD2000.

I never warmed up to the "mushy" (to me") keybed of the DS88 so I went with the Fantom-08 when I traded up from my RD-88. You missed out on the $250 rebate offer Roland had going (and they paid up within 7 weeks), but maybe it will come back after the holidays.
