RIP Gerry Marsden

Sad, sad news.

Gerry Marsden passed away a short time ago, aged 78 he suffered a short heart related illness.

A Sixties superstar of the Mersey Beat with hits including Ferry Cross The Mersey and the anthem of Liverpool FC, You’ll Never Walk Alone.

We saw Gerry in concert at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall a couple of years ago and when he sang YNWA the place erupted with 2000 fans singing along.
