Roland FA vs fantom x

I would like to know what are the main differences between these keyboards, I wanted to buy a fantom x8, however roland launched the FA serious and made me hesitate between which of these keyboards will be more fully functional

It has been over five years since the keyboards were released (& the original post was started) and in about September 2019 Roland issued a major update to the Fantom range, the FA range have had minor updates since they were launched but is still essentially an older model.

The Fantom is the competitor to the Montage and Kronos and hence in a totally different market segment.

The FA is up against the Krome and MODX.

Here in the UK an FA08 is c£1250 whereas a Fantom 8 is c£3500.
