Roland G70 Keyboard output

I purchased a G70 November 2021 and It is connected to a Zoom 1608 which works fine. I've been thinking of purchasing a used Peavey XR-AT with auto tune. Some of my musician friends say the output from the Peavey is analog, not digital. Does anyone know if this is true? They claim it will make static noise to the Zoom.
