I have 8 years old HP-207 that started to act up. Every time I power on the piano, the LED goes back to Japanese language. Also, I noticed certain keys started to have a loud "metallic/steely" sound when played.
As to the LED issue, my guess is there might be a PROM battery somewhere inside that possibly went bad?
Any pointers would be appreciated.
