Songbook Editor for P5x

Hi

Can anyone advise me if there is a Windows 10 version of Songbook Editor for the Pa5x.

I can find the Pa4x version, but not sure if that will work.

The 4X version has a drop down feature to enable the compatible Pa models to be selected.

As the 5X uses a difference file structure I presume that a standalone Songbook Editor would be required.

I am unaware of a Korg Songbook Editor for the 5X

Whilst it is expensive the Korg Pa Manager is available and compatible with the 5X, and there is a 14 day free trial available. Never tried it myself though.

I'll see what the Korg Pa Manager has to offer in the Trial version, and see if it is of enough use to make the cost of it worthwhile. I'll report back.

I've taken a thorough look at the video of what Korg Pa Manager has to offer.

It's certainly full of some very useful features for those who probably understand their Pa keyboards a lot more than I do. One thing I would love to have seen is a Yamaha to Korg Style converter.
I'm aware, thanks to Qui Robinez and others that it's possible to convert styles. It does, however, seem to be quite a step for the average user to actually accomplish it. I don't think I could if I'm honest.

I think I will carry on with my very steep learning curve, and wait for another few months to see if there are any updates to it. The price is a little bit on the high side for my current cash flow.

Let's see what Father Christmas brings!

One feature that we are hoping that Korg include in an update is the ability convert a MIDI to a Style.

This is available in the 700, 1000 and 4X models.

I am still on a Pa4X with a large songbook. Will it transfer to a Pa5X.
