Una Corda on P85; Am i meant to be hearing a difference?

Hi. I've made a couple of threads for opinions as to which stage piano to buy. Well in the end i got a Yamaha P85 and also bought the stand and pedals for it. Unlike the piano itself, i only got the stand and pedals this afternoon and have set it up. The only thing is, i can't seem to hear any effect made by the leftmost pedal. The Sostenuto and Sustain pedals work as they should, but i can't even decide if i can hear a difference with the Una Corda. Is there anyone who owns a P85 who might shed some light on this, or have i got a faulty pedal board?

is it the pedal that was made to go with the p85? i dont think all pedals will work with it. my guess is that only the one yamaha released will.
