Yamaha YDP-S30 faulty connection

I wanted to connect my old Yamaha YDP-S30 to FL Studio using a midi-usb 2.0 cable. But I can't play chords, only a singular note, and even then it only sometimes works, and never releases, as if I'm holding down the key, but I'm not. Is there a way for me to fix this?
