Adding Key Felt to a Roland Fantom

Hello,

I absolutely adore my Roland Fantom 7, but I must admit, the key action is quite noisy. It has crossed my mind whether upgrading to the Fantom 8 might be a solution. Another option I've considered is adding some extra felt to the keybed, though I have no prior experience with such a modification. Has anyone attempted this before? Is it a straightforward process?

Don't like the thought of opening up the Fantom to "tinker"... feel like knowing my luck I could do something terrible lol

I wonder if there are tech guys who would do the job for you and if so where do you find them?
