I believe what I am looking for is an arranger.
I would like to experiment with many sounds as well as make my own.
I have 8 years of grand piano experience, and about 3 with drums and guitar.
Now that I am involved in music courses at school, I really feel the need to set my compositions to sound and be able to store and organize them. I think that would really expand my opportunities.
Budget is preferably under $800
I can go used off ebay, not craigslist.
I have Cubase, and Audacity , but can aquire any program necessary to get full function out of the keyboard. Not included in budget.
(admin can delete that line if its against the rules)
I liked the Juno-G and Triton a lot.
Semi-weighted/weighted keys preferably
61+ keys (88 keys really intrigues me, but is probably over budget)
I need to be able to connect to computer and sync with guitar and drum tracks.
Does not need good live sound. just capability to be played live. Like in a jam session.
Onboard memory so i can save lots of tracks. Or be able to store them on something. ( I was told this rules out most synth's in my budget)
Oh and I love keyboard flutes
