Bass and Piano

I have a three piece band where I play the bass guitar with the left hand and piano, organ, guitars, strings, etc. with the right hand. I'm looking for the best keyboard to perform this action?

Genre of music? Budget? Weight preferences? # of Keys? Weighted or unweighted?

And when you say you "play the bass guitar" with the left hand, are you literally talking about a fender bass hanging around your neck or do you mean you play the bassline on the left side of the keyboard?

I was wondering that maybe someone would have a preference in keyboards that have all around quality sounds. For example: Roland is known for fantastic piano sounds but not organ. My Yamaha MOX8 has great organ sounds but fair piano sounds.

I am looking to purchase a new keyboard soon and was curious if anyone had a preference.

I have written several patches with a bass guitar on left had and piano, organs, etc. on right hand. I actual play the bass guitar's baseline with the left hand while playing a piano with the right hand.

Well, to address your main point, I don't really think there is one single brand of keyboard that "does it all" so to speak.

For that reason many keyboard players have more than one in their rigs.
